Time for a new journey

Today and yesterday were my last days in the Van Goghmuseum and De Mesdag Collection, with the opening of a new exhibition today. The wonderful artist Rosa Bonheur, who loved animals very much and painted them extraordinary well. Definitely recommend to go and see this if you get the chance. I’ve said goodbye to my collegues, but keep in touch with some of them.

September so far has also been a strange month, besides very busy, as many unexpected things happened (good and not so good). I was very happy to swim both the Rapenburg Race in Leiden and the Amsterdam City Swim. Thanks everyone for the fun, support, pictures and of course the donations! πŸ˜„πŸ™ The latter one I swam with my collegues of Waternet and we raised a great amount for a good cause. The Open Monuments day was very nice too.

Tomorrow starts my holiday, very much looking forward to my next journey. This time I changed my mind several times and decided first to go somewhere I wanted to go for a long time allready, ever since I used to work for Docomo, yes, it’s Japan! πŸ˜„πŸ‘ΎπŸ‘‹βœˆοΈβ›©οΈ
